Welcome to Club Creative Studio’s blog where there is always a focus on creativity.
It doesn’t take much effort to get creatively inspired now-a-days. One way that I gain inspiration from time to time is from the use of quotes. Take time to get inspired by quotes and gather meaning from other’s short words of wisdom. Artistic themed quotes may be just what you need to spark an idea, especially if the quote is from an artist.
Often times I will place a quote on the Club Creative Studio Facebook page athttp://www.facebook.com/clubcreativestudio I place them there in hopes to inspire others to be creative or take a step to think creatively.
Stop by the Facebook page and “Like” us there in support of all those who enjoy being creative or are looking for ways to appreciate the arts.
Who knows- maybe a quote, image or other information shared there will encourage you to be creative and give you the spark you need to take a first step onto a journey of discovery.
Do you have a “go-to” artistic theme quote that resonates with you? Please feel free to share it in the comment section below.
Have you ever thought of mixing up your look to be bold and gutsey? It’s time to step up your look and step out in fashion. Make a statement! Step up your style, step out into a new and exciting world with ideas from this Feature Friday post.
Statement jewelry is definitely not for a wallflower. Statement jewelry is a strong expression of style for anytime you want to make an impression with your jewelry!
If you struggle with ways to incorporate big, bold jewelry pieces into your wardrobe, Club Creative Studio can help with suggestions. Using bold jewelry is a great accent.
Many think that big overstated and over-sized jewelry is over-whelming and over-barring. You can curb that feeling by figuring out how to make statement jewelry work for your personal style and situation.
People have different comfort levels. While some people find a comfort level in wearing a chunky necklace, another may feel confined when wearing a bib necklace and express a feeling as if they are being choked.
Standout jewelry is not limited to a larger substantial necklace. Large or long earrings can be a way to express a sense of boldness as well. As your style evolves, you may want to explore statement jewelry if you are naturally shy or not normally outgoing in your jewelry choices.
What is Statement Jewelry?
Statement jewelry is any kind of jewelry that makes a big impact. A characteristic could be described as commonly generously-sized, and it is well noted for style.
When Do You Wear Statement Jewelry?
Generally speaking, statement jewelry is commonly substantial so you may wish to wear one piece at a time and stick with simpler clothing. This saves and transforms a simple wardrobe.
What is a Statement Bib Necklace?
A bib necklace is generally shorter in length, but makes up volume in width. You most likely will find a lot of detailing and are a strong hit of color in an outfit. The best time to wear a bib necklace is with a scoop neckline or a curved boat neck. Adding glamour is easy when you consider accessorizing with a bib necklace.
Multi-strand and Multi-colored Necklaces
Multiple strand necklaces give volume interest. They can also be adjusted for varied lengths if you are layering several necklaces around your neck.
The illusion of a multi-strand necklace can be obtained from layering many single strand necklaces together. A lengthy necklace is one that is usually known to fall right below the bust line.
I often create cuff-style bracelets because they fit a variety of wrist sizes without a specific measurement. Cuffs are incredibly elegant and edgy. They can be simple in design or bold with a collection of interesting elements. A cuff bracelet will be best noticed when it is paired with a shorter sleeve length or one at a three-quarter length.
The real key to wearing statement jewelry is to do so with confidence. Wear it with a great attitude and you’ll look amazing.

Jewelry accessories help us out in questionable times. Jewelry accentuates the positive. It makes us look good in front of others, gives us an emotional boost when it is near us, and wants to be supportive of our over-all look. Who doesn’t want those same qualities in a friend?
Jewelry has power.
Jewelry has the power to add oomph to an otherwise plain outfit. That’s key to understand. Mixing up your accessories’ color pallet also adds depth to a one-dimensional wardrobe. Have you tapped into the power that your jewelry is capable of giving?
I recently had the opportunity to listen to a person who has an active interest and pulse on fashion trends. As I listened, aspects crossed over within my mind into my hand-made jewelry world that were relatable.
These are my tips for adding oomph to your outfits with jewelry.
1. Buy both trendy and classic jewelry. Like trendy and classic clothing, both mesh to keep a look current and streamlined. These distinct styles have many levels of expressive appeal.
2. Mix and match- consider the variations of texture and color of your clothing choices to combine with your jewelry for added outfit oomph. Use your jewelry to add dimension and unexpected appeal, much like what you demand of in your wardrobe choices.
3. Your jewelry choices should aim to highlight and work together with an outfit to combine for a total package look. Statement pieces are one way to focus away from a plain outfit.
4. Enjoy your favorite “go-to” jewelry staples but, take a leap and venture away from your comfort zone every now and again. Accessorizing can be experimental on so many levels. Try something new or wear it differently, the fresh out-take will give a fresh out-look.
5. Express your inner self- style is meant to be fun. Add an odd conversational piece of jewelry, something that is very trendy will draw you into the present world situation.
Take time to analyze your jewelry wardrobe and consider if you need a spruce-up/revamp or over-haul. The challenge is yours to keep jewelry as a good friend.
What normally holds you back from not using your accessories as a form of self expression and fashion? Let us know what is on your mind concerning this fashion challenge in the comment box below.

It is fun, useful and challenging to figure out or accidently discover a new way to use a common household item. Today on Save-a-Cent Tuesday, I will share few low-cost tips for using cupcake liners. Get your other cupcake liner ideas flowing. Please share your ideas if you have ever used a cupcake liner in an inventive, creative way.
Now-a-days, paper cupcake liners can be found in bright and festive colors and prints. They have come a long way since the limited pastel colors commonly offered. It’s alright if you do not invest in decorative cupcake liners for this particular project. Creating paper flowers are fun. Care to try it?
Paper Cupcake Liner Flowers
Materials: paper cupcake liners, scissors, glue, miscellaneous small items for layered decorations, background paper surface.
1. Stack as many paper cupcake liners as you can scissor cut at once, or cut one liner at a time for one-of-a-kind shapes. Simply cut the outer edges in fringe/slits or into flower petal shapes.
♥ For younger persons using scissors, cut one line at a time or pre-draw cut lines to follow.
♥ Random fringe cuts make great flowers, as well as planned petal shapes.
2. Glue the liner bottom portion flat onto a background surface such as stiff construction paper or card stock.
3. Add FUN. Consider using fun artful items to the flower center like ribbon, buttons, pom-poms, colored rice, yarn fragments, or even a photo of someone for display. Add a stem using ribbon, yarn, or pipe cleaner segments.
♥ This idea makes a great bulletin board display.
♥ This idea works well for a greeting card project.
In the blog from the Krazy Coupon Lady at www.krazycouponlady.com, more ideas are shared below. These ideas are elaborated on that blog.
1. Popsicle drip-catcher- Stop the sticky mess with a cupcake liner catching the drips.
2. Glass covers- Protect your outdoor beverage glass rim with a cupcake liner. With straw use, slide the straw through the baking liner.
3. Contain loose messes- Place loose powders or material spills within a baking cup.
I have used cupcake liners in the cup holder of the car to use as a station to place ketchupinstead of using the messy tear tip packages.
4. Hold pre-scooped servings- Serve ice cream, art supplies, or finger food snacks easily and in control of portion.
6. String liners against lights- Use the design on the liner to convey a theme or add whimsy to lights.
7. Make a mold- Aside from baking cupcakes and muffins in cupcake tins and liners, use the liner as a mold for individual gelatin or cheesecake recipes. The ridges from the baking cup look fancy.
Here is one more tip from Club Creative Studio: Decorative cupcake liners can also be used for their attractive, ready-made polka-dot shapes when flattened out. Use for signs, windows and bulletin boards.

I recently attended a meeting consisting of business persons. At one point, I spoke about the fact that I create custom art. A conversation ensued. A “Call for Custom” to me is a conversation that is welcomed. I used the chance to elaborate on the meaning of custom art.
I welcome the challenges that come to call when I am asked to create a custom art order. Any person who shops for custom jewelry or other items are searching for that “perfect piece” not for what is going to serve them as “good enough” and is readily available on store shelves in front of them at the time.
I have two ways to describe custom jewelry:
1. Custom jewelry is a wonderful choice for people with unique and distinct tastes in styles.
2. Custom jewelry is a wonderful choice for people who wish to stand out in a crowd among many.
The Up-Side to Custom- When I create custom art, I design to fit the recipient’s particular needs. In these instances, the buyer has more control over the piece aesthetics. This allows for a heightened degree of attention to detail to hit those marks of service on my part. I listen carefully and take great notes. I strive to convey and incorporate special meaning into the art which makes it truly and extraordinarily unique to the individuals involved. A custom piece of art has to “speak” and have personal meaning upon the completion.
Custom work allows me to work closely with the purchaser to control color, materials, size and design elements of the art piece. Sometimes there is a price point to consider, sometimes there are other limitations on the specifics. Most times, I am happily trusted to “work my magic” with general ideas and added I am granted free rein for a finished product.
Most persons commonly think of “custom” in jewelry making when they have an opportunity to place loose stones or diamonds into a jewelry setting. While this is popular thinking, there can be much more to this.
There are a few ways to place a custom description into your jewelry art. Using a monogram, a personal image, specific theme charms or personalized engraved pendant, an initial charm, birthstones or birth crystal colors, and having a say in the over-all design to name a few.
Some jewelry shoppers may be on the hunt for a personalized piece that has special meaning. Others may want a wearable piece of art that no one else can own. BOTH are ways by which I support creating CUSTOM art. This is where Club Creative Studio comes in to save the day.
Our art is always custom, and created to be ONE-OF-A-KIND.
The Down-side toCustom While it is true that the buying process is longer than purchasing regular jewelry of the shelf of a large department store chain, the results are worth the wait.
Club Creative Studio welcomes your custom requests and looks forward to meeting your specific style needs. Together we can design another master piece!
Please view custom, one-of-a-kind art on the home page. When I design jewelry or home décor items, one of the main goals I have is to CREATE ART THAT SETS YOU APART. Allow me to create for you or that special someone. I love creating every day!
