The I am thankful for the experience to have a new-found Hawaiian influence within my art.

Since Club Creative Studio relocated to Hawaii, I have naturally created items that have had a Hawaiian flair to them.  Most times it includes the use of shells.

It is probably no surprise that using shells in creative ways are popular here.  I have discovered new ways to incorporate shells and ocean-themes into recent jewelry art that I create. It has been a fun challenge as well as an expressive opportunity.

The island of Oahu has many inspirational factors to spark creativity. Culture, bright colors, flora, fauna, ocean waves, undersea life, mountains, craters, tropical jungles and sandy beaches just to name a few influences.

I have combined beads, charms, wires and shells in creative ways, and I see no limitations to the creative process featuring shells.

If you are interested in having a special shell wire-wrapped, I do custom requests and would love to help you transform one of your collected shells into wearable art.  You may also check out the inventory online to see if there are readily available items to chose from. http://www.clubcreativestudio.com

R is for Random Acts of Art

I often find special places to share Random Acts of Art.

Since living in Hawaii, I have discovered the love of hiking.  There are many beautiful places to experience, and taking to the trails are one way to explore nature and its gifts, at it’s best.

I have often spread the love of art and appreciation for creating it by randomly leaving art behind in public places for someone to find and keep.  These are fee gifts to be uncovered or found in an unusual or uncommon setting.

There are many unique and opportune spots for me to share art along a hiking trail. It has become a routine event for me to include a hand-made item in my backpack, along with water and other essentials.  I decided to dedicate art along hike trails because it is the perfect spot to brighten someone’s day.  It can be looked at as sort of a hidden reward for hiking accomplishments.  Trails can be physically demanding, and I use my art to bring a smile to a hiker if they have experienced pain or challenge from walking or climbing. What a treat!

If you happen to be lucky enough to hike trails on the island of Oahu, keep a look out for Club Creative Studio art presented with a short note and placed in a clear plastic bag for weather element protection.  I am spreading the love of creating and sharing art with lucky hikers!

O is for Oahu

Club Creative Studio has relocated their home-base work space to Oahu, Hawaii.

For the past few months, the beautiful island of Oahu has been an inspirational backdrop for creativity.

Oahu for me, is a place of appreciation for culture, bright color and celebration of floral and fauna.

I love realizing that if I want to totally relax, escape and enjoy the beach, I don’t have far to go. Island life has its good points.

Oahu, HawaiiMy studio work space is evolving as I continue to unpack, locate, sort, organize, and arrange my supplies. I have discovered many great aspects about this environment and have NO COMPLAINTS so far.  Please keep track of our creative efforts as we share ART WITH ALOHA!
